Monochrome postcard showing the view looking up Wheathampstead Road, Harpenden away from town towards a railway bridge. The road to the left is presumably Crabtree Lane and the first building on the right in the distance is The Queen's Head pub. This photograph must have been taken prior to 1928 when this road became known as Southdown Road. Kindly loaned to St Albans Museums for reproduction and inclusion in this image database by Harpenden Local History Society.
