Watercolour by J.H.Buckingham showing The Horseshoes Inn (now called The Three Horseshoes) which still stands on the Hatfield Road near Smallford, almost opposite Notcutt's Garden Centre. A horse and cart stands outside the inn. The "Horse Shoes" got its name from the farriers which adjoins the inn and stands in the foreground to the left.
