Watercolour painting by Miss Mary Brabant showing the view from the rear of number 33 High Street, St Albans in around 1790. This house was formerly the residence of Mr Richard Brabant, Mary's father and a mayor of St Albans in the early part of the 19th century. In the distance, the Abbey Gateway and St Michael's Church can be seen.
