Monochrome aquatint entitled "Markyate Cell near St Albans". No name or publisher's details. Pencil note outside platemark dates this as c.1845. Markyate Cell was the home of Lady Katherine Ferrars, famous for disguising herself as a highwayman and better known as "The Wicked Lady".
