Embroidered Post Card bearing the motto "Easter Greetings" with Easter Bunny, Easter Eggs and snowdrops. These were a popular type of card sent home by troops on active service during First World War. Message on reverse reads: "from Dad to all at home". Sent home from France by Private William John Fairy, a soldier from St Albans who later died, after being fatally wounded at Ypres in September 1917. One of a series of 12 similar items.
