glass roundel with Medusa's head

Blue/green Roman glass medallion, originally positioned beneath handle of jug, stamped while glass was still warm and pliable; design of medallion is female head with flowing hair (sometimes identified as Medusa). broken edge of vessel wall chipped around behind medallion to remove any sharp edges - possibly for reuse as a talisman?
