Watercolour by J.H. Buckingham entitled "Cottonmill, Footbridge over the Ver", not signed, no date. River with buildings, including a mill, and both small footbridge and larger bridge over the river. Note attached reads "Cottonmill, Footbridge over the Ver. Watercolour over pencil on a rough surface handmade paper. Here the wintry setting has benfitted from the use of a rougher textured paper, the shadows oresent in the surface of the sheet giving the winter light a 'greyness' ".
