Watercolour landscape of Cynicht (also spelt Cnicht), a mountain in Snowdonia near Porthmadog in Gwynedd, North Wales often known as "the Welsh Matterhorn". A few buildings, perhaps a village can be seen at the foot of the mountains, and the weather is rather overcast and stormy. Wigram painted several watercolours of this part of Wales, perhaps on the same trip. Sir Edgar Thomas Ainger Wigram bart. (1864-1935) was mayor of St Albans in 1926.
