Portrait of the Rt. Hon. Charlotte, Countess of Verulam (1783 - 1863). Born Lady Charlotte Jenkinson, she was the wife of James Walter Grimston, the 1st Earl of Verulam and mother of eight children including James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam. Engraved by Dean from a miniature by Hawkins. No. 69 of the Series of the Female Nobility. Published by Whittaker & Co. in La Belle Assemblee, No. 69 for Sept 1830. The Proofs by M Colnaghi, 23 Cockspur Street.
