Replica Tudor Horn Spoon from the St Albans Museums teaching collection. These were inexpensive, and not usually mentioned in wills, although silver spoons are. Horn is a cheap material and is easily shaped as it softens when soaked in hot water. These are rarely preserved archaeologically or mentioned in documents.
