Andrew Parker as 'Lord Carnarvon'. Image taken to advertise Mayor Councillor Kate Morris' charity event 'PRESENTING OUR PAST For the future' - "An Edwardian outing to Childwick Green" on 9th September 2007. Sir John Blundell Maple (1845 - 1903) made his fortune through the Maple furniture business, which he founded. He was also a racehorse owner. He lived in Childwickbury, near St Albans and founded the Sisters Hospital and Clarence Park in St Albans. He was a good friend of the future Edward VII, and MP for Dulwich.
