Watercolour landscape of Alnick Castle in Northumberland. The castle is viewed from a distance and stands high on a hill. In the foreground, five cows graze in the field. Three figures can just be made out pencilled in in this foreground field. Sir Edgar Thomas Ainger Wigram bart. (1864-1935) was mayor of St Albans in 1926.
