Monochrome postcard showing the view looking up Victoria Street, St Albans, from the railway bridge at St Albans City Station towards the centre of town. The church spire on the right is that of Trinity United Reformed Church on the corner of Beaconsfield Road. On the left, the Midland Railway Hotel can be seen opposite the church, on the corner of Alma Road. There are a number of pedestrians, cyclists and horse-drawn vehicles in the road, and shows with awnings on the right. No postmark, but hand-written date on reverse reads 14/05/[19]15.
