Newspaper cutting with half tone reproduction of a photograph of the gargoyle of Lord Grimthorpe (1816 - 1905) in the north porch of St Albans Abbey, under the caption "The Late Lord Grimthorpe". Text beneath reads "This likeness of the late Lord Grimthorpe appears over the north porch of St Albans Cathedral, where it was placed as a tribute to the work he did in restoring the cathedral." Handwritten date in ink bottom right reads 2 May 1905. Part of the Lewis Evans Collection.
