Monochrome photographic print. Hand written caption reads "Building the set for Queen Victoria film, Bricket Wood Station." In 1937 Bricket Wood station was used to film scenes supposedly set at Euston Station in the film 'Queen Victoria'. The Lion locamotive was transported from Liverpool Lime Street Station to Bricket Wood, along with two coaches of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway. These later became part of the National Railway Museum collection at York. This photograph comes from an album originally belonging to the Shirtcliffe family.
