Monochrome photographic print. Hand written caption reads "Old Rail Coaches at Bricket Wood." In 1937 Bricket Wood station was used to film scenes supposedly set at Euston Station in the film 'Queen Victoria'. The Lion locamotive was transported from Liverpool Lime Street Station to Bricket Wood, along with the two coaches of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway seen here. These later became part of the National Railway Museum collection at York. This photograph comes from an album originally belonging to the Shirtcliffe family.
