"The High Altar at St Albans 28 Dec 1720". This screen is also known as The Wallingford Screen. The original Wallingford Screen was erected in 1484 by William of Wallingford, 47th abbot of St Albans Abbey, but destroyed during the Dissolution. The current screen is a Victorian copy. Drawn by William Stuckeley.
