Monochrome postcard showing an interior view of the nave of St Nicholas Church, Harpenden, looking down the nave towards the altar. A handwritten note on the reverse notes that this photograph is from around 1918 and mentions the gas lights at either side of the nave which were a recent addition to the church at the time the photograph was taken. Kindly loaned to St Albans Museums for reproduction and inclusion in this image database by Harpenden Local History Society.
