Monochrome photographic print mounted on board. Standing studio portrait of Jim Selby, Coachman (b1844, d.1888). Mr Selby won a £1000 wager by driving from London to Brighton and back in 7hrs 34 mins on 13th July 1888. See also 2006.7107, a poem about Jim Selby's drive from London to Brighton and back.
