Description

Modern reproduction of a monochrome photographic print showing the station on London Road with porters and other men standing on the platform. This station, part of the Hatfield to St Albans branch of the Great Northern Railway line, was opened in 1865. The line was closed in 1960 and the station building, which still stands, is now part of a housing development.
