Newspaper cutting from 'The Graphic', August 30, 1902 with photographic illustration showing "The Church of St Michael, Bishops Stortford." Caption underneath reads "Mr Cecil Rhodes's father was vicar of this church and the house in which theh great statesman was born is close by. Our photograph is by A. Maxwell, Bishop Stortford." The illustration appears to be a halftone reproduction from a photograph, but details of the grass at the bottom of the image and buildings on the left appear to be engraved by hand. Part of the Lewis Evans Collection.
