"Esq.re Burchmore. A very respectable Voter just arrived from Bolougne where he had been for the benefit of his Health at the Expense of Somebody. p2". Pencil, ink. Thomas Burchmore of Fishpool Street, on stand, unkempt; note patched elbow. Burchmore was a labourer on Parrott's farm like Skegg, but only succeeded in getting £2 from Edwards for his vote. Like Skegg he happily admitted this, was summoned to the Commons and absconded, hence his holiday in Boulogne; Report … into the Existence of Bribery 1852 §346-56.
