Portrait of Rupa Ganguly, later Rupa Mukherjee, shown to Mr (later Dr) Debashis Mukherjee, via family as a first introduction with the possibility of marriage in view. Taken by an unknown studio photographer in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) in 1981. A marriage was later arranged by mutual agreement and the couple married in 1982.
