Bee-keeping equipment at Blow & Ellis's works, Welwyn (c 1870?). Anonymous commercial wood engravings. These unexpected scenes show the full range of apiaries made by Thomas B Blow & Ellis. They range from ordinary hives and skeps to 'bee houses' (about £2) and 'bee pavilions' (the large structures; price on application).
