Monochrome photographic print, 112 x 68 mm. Portrait of Rev. H. Smith, the first vicar at Christ Church on Verulam Road, St Albans. There is a hand-written note below the photograph which has been partly cut off, reading "Yours very faithfully...". Since Christ Church in St Albans was opened in 1858, this photograph probably dates from the 1860s.
