Roman arrowheads. From main burial one, one of two early 2nd century AD Romano-British burials discovered at Turner's Hall Farm, Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire, in March 2002. Over thirty arrowheads were found in burial one. Most lay in a single group and were probably buried in a leather bag, but five were discovered seperated, at least one of which appears to have been fitted with a wooden shaft ready for use. This is the first time arrows have been found in a Romano- British grave.
