Christmas card from F.L.Griggs to F.G.Kitton reading "With the Season's Greetings.". Line block reproduction of a drawing by F.L.Griggs of "St Mary's Church", signed bottom right, dated 1901. Frederick Landseer Maur Griggs (1876-1938) was born in Hitchin and lived there until 1903, which makes this likely to be a view of St Mary's Church in Hitchin. He was a distinguished etcher and from 1896 onwards he exhibited widely. These Christmas cards provide us evidence of Griggs and Kittons friendship.
