Monochrome photographic cabinet card (albumen print mounted on board), 164 x 107 mm. Head and shoulders studio portrait of the Rt. Hon. Earl of Essex. Given his dress and the appearance of this card, which suggest a date of around 1895, this is most likely to be George Devereux de Vere Capell, 7th Earl of Essex (1857-1916).
