Monochrome postcard showing the Old Town Hall, St Albans. Market Place, French Row and the building known as 'The Gables' can be seen on the right, with St Albans Abbey Tower and the Clock Tower in the distance. Several men stand in front of the Town Hall and a horse-drawn wagon is parked on the far right. The old town hall was opened in 1831, designed in a neo-classical style by architect George Smith. No postmark.
