Description

Blue and white ceramic plate showing cows and a man on horseback in a river in the foreground and St Albans Abbey in the distance. This blue and white transfer-printed plate was probably produced as an early tourist souvenir. It shows a view of St Albans Catherdral which includes the spire pulled down in the early 1830s.
