Monochrome photographic print, 274 x 201 mm (sheet size). Photograph by Arthur Cherry. Portrait of Lionel Gee of St Albans City Police, 1913. Arthur Cherry appears to have produced this unusual print by cutting out the figure from an original photographic portrait, adding a sketchy background in pencil and then rephotographing the whole thing to produce the image seen here.
