Watercolour by J.H.Buckingham showing St Albans Abbey and the Abbey Gateway viewed from accross the fields of St Germain's Farm, which later became Verulamium Park. Though indistinct, it appears that the Silk Mill at the bottom of Abbey Mill Lane may be visible in the middle distance, with its chimney just to the left of the two trees in the foreground.
