Monochrome photograph showing St Nicholas' Church and school in Harpenden with the Church Green in front of the church. No date but appears to be late Victorian, c.1890s. There appears to be a large party of some kind leaving the church, with many onlookers, people on the green and a long parade of children being led along one side of the green. Note also the geese wandering apparently untended on the green. Kindly loaned to St Albans Museums for reproduction and inclusion in this image database by Harpenden Local History Society.
