Wood engraving illustration cut from an unknown newspaper captioned "Ruins of St John's Hospital. From an Old Engraving." A handwritten pencil note bottom left reads Royston, Herts. The hopsital of St John and St Thomas for lepers stood on the corner of a crossroads in Royston, where the public house called the Old Post Office is now sited. Part of the Lewis Evans Collection.
