Monochrome photographic print on paper, 128 x 89 mm. The Midland Railway Hotel on the corner of Victoria Road and Alma Road, and the view down Alma Road. In the 1890s Charles and Mary Dalley were the licencees, and relatives of the Melbourne Cooper family.
Donated by Jan Wadowski, son of Audrey Wadowska, daughter of local film-making pioneer Arthur Melbourne-Cooper. Caption on back says the Dalleys were "Dad's mother's brother's / wife".
