Watercolour landscape of the Hospital of St Cross, a medieval almshouse near Winchester, with the Norman church of the hospital in the centre of the painting, surrounded by trees. Sir Edgar Thomas Ainger Wigram bart. (1864-1935) was mayor of St Albans in 1926.
