Watercolour by J.H.Buckingham showing a view across fields with grazing cows looking towards the Cotton Mill at Sopwell. The Cotton Mill was erected in the 18th century for polishing diamonds, changed to making cotton wicks for candles at the beginning of the 19th century and later became a flour mill.
