Monochrome postcard showing St Albans Abbey from the North East, near the end of Waxhouse Gate and the Vintry garden. The Abbey is seen here prior to Lord Grimthorpe's restoration work of 1880 - 1885, during which time the Norman turrets seen here were significantly altered. No postmark.
