Plate 45 of 100 from part 5 (number 8) of Holmes Winters' series of etchings "The Last of Old St Albans". "Old shops, in passage back of Cornhall, S. Albans. Sketched Aug 26th [18]98" Drawn and etched by Holmes Winter. The description suggests that this may be Pudding Lane, which runs behind the Corn Exchange, off Market Place.

NB: These are largely scanned from Box 17, but given accession nos from complete collection in box 61 since these are the only complete accessioned set, in order to export to Vernon. Images will be identical but not all edition numbers will be right.
