A Mithraic protective amulet or admission pass to a temple of Mithras. It has been made by altering a much earlier silver coin of the Emperor Augustus. Obverse surface rubbed blank, then inscribed "MI OPAC WPOMACDHC, OPHN". Reverse rubbed smooth and inscribed with representation of Mithras.
