Advertisement for Ryder's seeds, with the slogan "For bigger vegetable yields sow Ryder's seeds". This advertisemnt comes from a booklet about gardening which was published during the Second World War, when the public were encouraged to "Dig for Victory" by growing their own fruit and vegetables. This booklet was kindly loaned to the museum for reproduction for the Home Front exhibition 2008 from the collections of Thomas Etty Esq. Heritage Seed Merchant.
