Cross and satin stitch sampler in silk thread on wool. Stiched by Ann Wren, December 6th 1794. Text with decorative border, birds and floral motifs. Text reads: "Ann Wren Is My Name. And In My Youth Worked The Same So By This You May Plainly See What Care My Parents Took Of Me. Ann Wren finished this sampler in December the 6 1794."
