Watercolour painting, not signed, no date. St Albans Abbey viewed from the River Ver at the SIlk Mill, with the mill and bridge on the right and view looking up Abbey Mill Lane across the river. Men with horses and carts can be seen in the water crossing the river. The Abbey is shown prior to its restoration by Lord Grimthorpe in the 1880s.
